Episode 358 – you seem pretty fly for a white girl so in love   New!

On this week’s episode, it was The Wow! Signal eve, as we awaited the release of Muse’s next album. In the meantime, we reviewed Olivia Rodrigo’s album “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love”, one of Michael’s real AOTY candidates, and Michael also listened to the Ratboys album from earlier this year.

We also talk about Canada’s potential inclusion into the Eurovision Song Contest, and which artists could fit the mold for the contest. In a big week of album announcements and tracks, we check out tracks from Beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, Benson Boone (actually not bad), Slander & Spiritbox, and FKA Twigs & Lil Yachty.

Episode 356 – Autopilot Drake

On this week’s Out of Ten, we’re finally both back in-person (for now)! On this episode, we get hyped for Susan Boyle’s return to the spotlight, and do a quick recap of our May album listens.

We talk about albums from Lykke Li, Ecca Vandal, MUNA, Julia Cummin, and Little Simz. Sage also talks about the amount of Drake he was able to handle in his triple album rollout, mostly about Iceman and what he could from Maid of Honour.

For new tracks, we’re vibing with the new Olivia Rodrigo track, and Muse is still dropping somewhat promising tracks for this new album, so Sage is here to convince Michael it’ll be okay.

Episode 355 – Spring Album Round-Up

We’re back! After several weeks off, we’re back with another episode recapping the big list of albums we’ve listened to so far this Spring!

We go through we albums we didn’t like like, like Kanye West’s “Bully”, albums we thought were just okay like Raye, Ella Langley and Kehlani, to some of our top albums of the year from Angine de Poitrine, Jessie Ware, Slayyyter, and The Twilight Sad.

Episode 354 – BTS Drone Track of the Year

As promised on last episode, this week’s Out of Ten focuses on the return of BTS. After their return from military service, they have returned to drop (Spoiler alert) our least favourite album of the year, but maybe the most listened to drone track in history.

We also review albums from Mitski, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, The Scythe, and Sage’s new current album of the year from Brigitte Calls Me Baby. And finally, for the second time this year, we listen to a Nickelback track…and don’t hate it!
